Medistella provides impartial guidance for people travelling abroad for medical procedures. Anyone planning treatment can register as a patient. “You might travel thousands of miles for your medical treatment, but we are here to make it comfortable for you,” explains Michaela.   

The company guides patients through therapy, accommodates their needs and provides tailored advice on how to make the most of their trip abroad. The company collaborates with fertility clinics boasting successful reputations and state-of-the-art-technology. Medistella patients undergoing donor egg treatment have a 68% (average) success rate, while the success rate for patients using their own eggs is on average 36% (dependent on age).  

With partner clinics in the Czech Republic, Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Slovakia, and others, the company evaluates each case and recommends facilities patient-by-patient. “All the clinics we recommend have been visited, each doctor and coordinator spoken to, and every laboratory inspected”, says joint Medistella cofounder Anna Dostalova.  

Anna previously worked with international patients at a Prague IVF centre, where she developed her knowledge and understanding of the medical, psychological, social and economic impacts of IVF treatment, which underpins Medistella fertility treatment services.  

The Medistella patient approach is personalised and wholesome, with medical jargon decoded and treatment guidance simplified. Thanks to a talented and multilingual team, with staff fluent in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish, Medistella is able to extend its services to patients residing in many countries. 

Michaela and Anna’s shared passion for helping people and interest in medical care inspired them to build Medistella from scratch. Despite receiving positive feedback from the off, it took a lot of time and energy to grow Medistella and turn it into a visible company.  However, Michaela and Anna remained determined to build their dream business, travelling across Europe to share and publicise the unique Medistella offering. 

“I am grateful to have found a job that I am passionate about. I am a proud mum of two boys and I am very happy to help women make their dreams a reality,” says Anna.  

This deeply rooted empathy for women defines Medistella core values. “Success is driven by heart and intuition,” says Michaela. “I will always remember our first patients. It is an honour for people from Australia, the US and other countries to contact us.” 

Encouraged by its fertility treatment success, Medistella continues to reach for the stars with expansion into plastic surgery, laser eye surgery and stomatology (oral medicine). The company connects patients with qualified and experienced specialists offering comprehensive care in these areas.
